First Citizens has donated $10,000.00 towards a team of 40 swimmers from the Amateur Swimming Association of Trinidad & Tobago (ASATT), to participate in the Annual Goodwill Swim Meet. The competitions will be held from August 13th to 19th, 2008 in Guyana.
Most of the individual gold medalist of this year's successful CARIFTA and CISC National Teams, even our lone female Olympic swimming qualifier represented Trinidad & Tobago at Goodwill in the past.
First Citizens Sports Foundation chose to align itself with this initiative as it supports the ASATT's aim of developing the talents of youths of our nation through exposure to swimming both locally and internationally.
